4th of July fun

The Flag is a variety show which strives to promote patriotism, honor those who are and have served in the military, and highlights the fact that this nation was founded on godly principles by godly men. With the backdrop of a gigantic American flag filled with the CT choir, reenactments of various military scenes are portrayed, favorite TV shows and movies engage the crowd, and songs of faith and hope bring the event to a climax. A spectacular fireworks display punctuates the evening.

A beautiful display of fireworks behind the lighted singing flag ends the evening.

This is how we spend our July 4th! (or 1st or 2nd as it runs 3 days)

This year was special as all three of my kids and my daughter-in-law took the day off to spend some family time together.

My beautiful daughter Cheyenne.  She is heading off to play water polo in college next month.  I will miss her keeping me laughing!!  Yes that is an extra large marshmallow she is stuffing in her mouth!!

The family always enjoys the music as they make many of the songs interactive.  This was the swing!

No one enjoys the Singing Flag more than my energetic daughter Kestrel, who gets up and dances to every song LOL

My niece Charlotte, in the middle, loves to play around with hair styles.  We spent the day in SF last weekend and they had a "Rosie the riveter WW2" in the 40's, sign you could take your picture in.  This inspired her to have a little fun on the 4th of July and style her and her cousin's hair for the Singing Flag.  Her hard work paid off with lots of compliments!
